Sunday

Hundred and Forty

It's snowing it's snowing it's snowing it's snowing it's SNOWING IT'S SNOWING!
'George come ba/'

George? Where are you? It's snowing so hard I can't see you!

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know

'It's a blizzard out here! All I can see is white!

Where the tree-tops glisten
And children listen
To hear sleighbells in the snow

'George?'

Over here Pips. Singing a bit of the legendary Bing Crosby.

'What are you doing?'

Digging a hole.

'It's so beautiful!'

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
'May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white'

'George?'

Hey guess what Pips?

'What are you up to?'

I'm in the hole!

'Can you hear me?'

I'm in the hole!

'George?'

And it's TERRIFIC!
'Hello George'.
Ms Fields.
'I thought I heard some singing. I didn't know you were a singer'.
I have many talents of which singing is just one. I've been digging.
'I can see that'.
Would you like to join me in my hole?
'Is there room?'
I can make some. It's very cosy. And you can sing a Christmas song with me.

'Philippa!'
'Elliot! What are you doing out here? You'll catch a death of cold'.
'Have you seen Ruthie?'
'No. Have you seen George? He shot out the door when I opened it and I haven't seen him since'.

'He's making a list
And checking it twice
Gonna find out who's naughty and nice
Santa Claus is coming/

'Here you both are'.
Uh oh. NO NO PIPS/
'Got you!
DON'T PICK ME UP! DON'T PICK ME UP!
'Elliot and I have caught hypothermia looking for you two'.
BUT I WANT TO STAY OUT IN THE SNOW! I'VE DUG A HOLE.
